I loved this. Something I have been doing over the past two years is immersing myself in all the literature I read in college. It takes on so much more MEANING with the years! I am in the middle of War & Peace right now! Always remember being in Paris with you!

Good column. I must admit, I was a ways into reading "Learned to run..." before I quite realized this was all past history, not something you did "on a visit you just made". Good going, with the running! Glad you included the picture of the statue of Ste. Genevieve, I was hoping your description of it would be illustrated. And, great picture of you, you look totally appropriate with wild hair!

I completely agree and embrace all you wrote about in this column. Staying present and really looking at what's around you is good for the soul. It's hard to remember, but worth doing. I do take offense with your throwaway comment about The Glasgow Marine Homicide unit. Annika is a terrific series, well-acted and well written. Compared to some of the shows streaming today, this was and A+.

Pull your shoulders back and press on! Yesss. Thank you again for your beautiful and well crafted words Susanna ♥️ I sometimes don’t read because my jealousy at your flow gets the best of me. I just got a job writing a column for our humble hometown online paper so trying to burn brighter embers. Summer is so lazy. 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
